Hochtief is not pressed to sell its airport stakes, the company’s chief financial officer, Peter Sassenfeld, said at a press conference in Essen, Germany, on Thursday. Germany’s largest construction company, Hochtief, 49.86% owned by Spanish construction company ACS with 54.28% of voting rights, has a 49.66% stake in Budapest Airport, which operates Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest. Hochtief decided to sell its European airport business in 2011, but the process was stopped last year due to market conditions. There is no time pressure, the stakes should not be sold underpriced, MTI quoted Sassenfeld as saying.
