Latvian airline Air Baltic launched a scheduled flight between Riga and Hungary’s Hévíz-Balaton Airport. Airport director Attila Benkő said 41 passengers arrived on the 51-seat aircraft, mostly from the Baltic states and Russia. The flight is the first scheduled one in five years at the airport. German and Russian charters are also flying to the Héviz-Balaton Airport, which lies near tourism destinations on Lake Balaton and the spa town of Hévíz.
