The Romanian government passed on Wednesday, besides the finance ceiling of the referendum, several other laws regarding the organizing of the referendum. According to the Constitution, a referendum is to be held after President Basescu was impeached by the parliament. The removal of the president through the May 19 referendum is rather unlikely, analysts said, adding that there are still a number of procedural difficulties. (people.com.cn)
