The mandates of Gábor Csányi, Bálint Csikos, József Gölöncsér, Pál Jendrolovics, Péter Sinkovics and Zoltán Velez have been extended until June 30, 2007. The two new board members are Andrea Markó and Gyula Gaál.
In December, Gyurcsány appointed Pál Vásárhelyi chairman of the board, along with members Péter Ferenc Deák, who is the CEO of ÁPV, and Éva Egedi. Their mandates will also expire on June 30.
The government earlier planned to combine the activities of ÁPV and the Treasury Asset Management Directorate (KVI) by the end of 2006, but no such action took place.
