Ukrainian wheat can be transported to Croatia via the Danube river to Vukovar, and then onward to Rijeka, on the Adriatic sea, and other ports, Butković told reporters on Wednesday, state broadcaster HRT reported.
However, the capacity of the Vukovar port is limited, while the capacities of the other ports have been leased, he added.

Currently part of the Ukrainian grain is being exported through the Croatian ports, mostly through the port of Rijeka.
Russia announced last month it will not renew a deal that allowed Ukraine to export its grain through the Black Sea.
