Romania’s consumer price inflation stayed broadly unchanged in April, latest data from the Bucharest-based National Institute of Statistics showed Friday. The consumer price index increased 5.29% on an annual basis in April, after rising 5.25% in March. Food prices advanced 5.6% from a year earlier, and prices in the non-food sector moved up 5.8%. Service costs rose 3.5% from March. On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up 0.1%, the statistics agency said.
