GVH reportedly said that the waterworks companyʼs fees for services “deviated significantly from a level economically justified by costs and necessary to turn an honest profit”.
According to Tettye, the competition office had scrutinized only a single element of its pricing policy and argued that it offers its customers a number of other discounts, saving them “several billion forints”. In a statement, Tettye said that “since its establishment, Tettye has strived and continues to strive to ensure its customers the highest quality services at the lowest possible price.”
