Freight delivered by road accounted for 70% of the total, rail cargo for 17% and pipeline volume for 10%. Waterway freight made up close to 3%.
Road freight volume fell 6%, but rail freight volume edged up 1%.
Domestic freight volume fell 5% to 50.7 million tonnes. International freight volume slipped 1% to 24.6 million tonnes.
