Consumer prices climbed 16.2% year-over-year in November, faster than the 15.1% rise in October.

In September, the inflation rate was 18%.

The price growth in housing, water, energy, and fuel rose to 16.9% in November from 11.1% in the prior month, as last year's zero VAT (value-added tax) for gas and electricity prices was partially reflected.

Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages have the biggest influence among commodity groups, rising 26% from last year.

Clothing and footwear prices surged 18.2%, and transport charges were 13.6% more expensive. On a monthly basis, consumer prices moved up 1.2% in November.
