A video showing the list of banned users being scrolled through was accompanied by the text: “13 minutes. That’s how long it takes to scroll through the list of users banned from the Hungary’s Government Facebook page by the previous government. This represents nearly 10,000 silenced Hungarians.”
The post added that government communication staff will lift these bans in the coming weeks.
“We are building a country where everyone can freely express their opinion, as long as they do not offend others,” they said.
