A total of 252 restaurants have joined DiningCity’s initiative nationwide, including many featured in leading Hungarian gastronomic guides. A total of 16 of the participating venues also hold international Michelin recommendations.

The event showcases multi-course menus created specifically for the occasion. Top-category restaurants offer menus starting at HUF 6,900, premium venues from HUF 8,900, and exclusive-category restaurants from HUF 10,900, with service charges included. Organizers noted that menu prices have not increased compared with last year.

Participating restaurants are offering dishes made with high-quality ingredients ranging from truffles and Argentine beef steak to lobster. Many venues also provide additional menu options for a small surcharge.

The selection also caters to diners with special dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Alongside classic Hungarian cuisine, visitors will be able to sample Italian, French, Lebanese, Indian, Japanese, Georgian, Mexican, and Moroccan dishes.

This year, Time Out Market Budapest has joined the DiningCity initiative for the first time. Located at Blaha Lujza tér in the Corvin Palace building, the recently opened gastronomic and cultural venue features new culinary concepts by well-known chefs, including Michelin-starred chefs Jenő Rácz and Tiago Sabarigo.

Reservations for the event can be made exclusively through the official etteremhet.hu website. Organizers say the aim of the initiative is to present high-quality dining to a broader audience, while maintaining limited seating capacity at participating restaurants.
