Addressing a worship service in a renovated Reformed church, Miklos Soltesz praised the renovation of Roman and Greek Catholic, Reformed, Lutheran and other churches, noting that another 200 churches have also been built.
He said the renovated churches were “jewels” of their respective settlements, adding that the most important question was whether they would be “filled with life”.
The Reformed church in the Ond area of Szerencs was refurbished in two stages, with the government contributing HUF 21 million (EUR 53,400) to the project.
