According to MTI, the aim of the program continues to be to improve the employability and placement of job seekers and inactive people aged 30 to 64 years.
With the help of the subsidies, more than 17,000 people over 30 have found work in the primary labour market and nearly 8,000 have entered training, the ministry said.
The program is expected to support the placement of 83,000 people in jobs by August 2029, with disadvantaged employees accounting at least for 65% of the total.
Participating employers may receive wage subsidies of up to 50pc of the gross wage, or a maximum of HUF 300,000 per month, for a fixed period of 4 or 6 months, depending on the individual’s labour market status. Training support may also be provided within the framework of the scheme.
