Its total contribution to the central budget (including taxes, contributions, fees, and a dividend) amounted to approximately HUF 178 bln.
Net revenue rose 26% to HUF 1.24 trillion. When excluding winnings payouts of HUF 929.5 bln, revenue was up 12%.
Roughly two-thirds of sales came from physical retail outlets.
Revenue from sports betting surged nearly 40%, while lottery ticket sales increased about 17%. Scratch-card ticket sales edged up 2%.
