Budapest to host agriculture conference on Dec. 12
The Netherlands-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce will host a conference entitled “Circular Economy - Sustainable Flow Management in Agriculture” in Budapest on December 12, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal today.
The conference will be opened by Netherlands Ambassador Gajus Scheltema, to be followed by a presentation by Zsolt Feldman, deputy state secretary for agriculture at the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture. The keynote speech by Martin van Nieuwenhoven will be on the new CE strategy of the Netherlands, with special regard to agricultural resources.
A panel discussion on best practices in Hungary will include Alfred Hakvoort, Managing Director, BKC BV; Péter Szautner, Managing Director, FrieslandCampina Hungary; Gerrit Kiers, Programme Manager, Talajtáp; László Aleksza, Managing Director, ProfiKomp Zrt.; and Antal Vattay, Managing Director, Water&Soil Kft.
Participation at the event, which will be held at Impact Hub Budapest, is free of charge, but online registration is necessary. Registrations are accepted until December 7. Translation will be provided.
