Nordic Light in Budapest welcomes new tenants

Harman International and BASF Hungária Kft. signed a lease agreement for offices at the Budapest’s Nordic Light Office Building, located on Váci út, according to a press statement issued today.
Colliers represented the tenants in the transactions and property and real estate services adviser CBRE has taken exclusive responsibility for leasing Nordic Light, according to the statement.
Harman International, one of the newest tenants of Nordic Light, signed a lease agreement for approximately 1,000 sqm in the first phase of the building, while BASF Hungária Kft. signed a lease agreement for 2,000 sqm in the second phase of Nordic Light.
Currently Nordic Light has preliminary lease contracts for 26% of the total leasable area; last year Schneider Electric and M&C Energia, an international expert of energy management and automatization, signed a lease for 3,650 sqm of office space, the press release said.
Nordic Light is being implemented in two phases. The entire complex offers 26,200 sqm of office area and 1,800 sqm of retail space across seven floors with more than 400 parking spaces. The building complex has an inside courtyard, green terraces and bicycle storage facilities with changing rooms and showers, as well as energy saving elevators and other green solutions.
Office spaces in the building are being leased by Skanska Hungary Ltd. and CBRE.
