A quarter of those surveyed are planning to move to a new property in the next one or two years, according to a representative survey commissioned by MBH Bank.

Among the reasons for the move, energy efficiency already ranks high, writes profitline.hu.

According to the announcement, 80% of those planning to renovate in the next one or two years will allocate less than HUF 3 million for modernization, primarily for conservation and energy development.

Less than a third of the respondents are considering taking out a loan; the renovation would be financed from savings and their monthly income.
