Alexandre Froment-Curtil will be the new CEO of Vodafone Hungary as of September, according to a press release issued today. Froment-Curtil is being promoted from the position of deputy CEO to replace current CEO Diego Massidda, who will continue his career in the United Kingdom, the release said.
Froment-Curtil, who joined Vodafone Hungary in 2012, is taking over the position that Massida held for five years.
“As I have achieved everything I set out for myself five years ago, the time has come for me and my family to step into a new stage of our lives. The company has gone through significant improvements … and has become profitable once again, thanks to thoroughly planned commercial steps,” Massida said.
Froment-Curtil said his promotion is an honor, a great challenge and an inspiring task. “I have worked in Hungary with great enthusiasm and I am happy to carry on with the job Diego started,” the newly appointed CEO said.
