Annamária Nagy was appointed customer insight director at UPC Hungary, filling a newly created position, according to a press release issued today.

In her new position, Nagy will be responsible for driving and improving customer experience by building cross-functional alignment and supporting management decisions by delivering in-depth insights from the market, the press statement said.

With more than 18 year experience in the field of customer insight and understanding, her main competences include exploring customers’ needs and behavior, and turning them into actionable insights. She began her carreer at Unilever as a customer insight manager, and prior to joining UPC, was the head of analysis, insight and commercial BI reporting at Telenor Hungary, where she took an active role in several successful branding activities and service launches.

“Nagy’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to understand every aspect of our customers’ behavior. She will play a lead role in the management and execution of operational brand and customer experience programs to bring ‘Customer First’ philosophy to life in a tough competitive environment,” said Anita Carra, CMO of UPC.

“I am pleased to join UPC and I truly believe that my appointment reflects UPC’s commitment to putting the customer at the center of every decision,” Nagy said in connection with her appointment. “My task is to ensure that customer experience becomes an even stronger pillar of the company’s strategy,” she added.
