Szabolcs Szeles new partner at WTS Klient
Business consultancy service provider WTS Klient has announced the appointment of Szabolcs Szeles as a partner, tasked with directing the firmʼs direct financial consulting branch, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal

The appointment is effective from January 1, 2019, also bringing about an organizational change at HLB Hungary, the entity within the Klient Group that focuses on auditing. Now, Szeles is also responsible for heading up the work of HLB Hungary as a partner.
Szeles will act as the company’s seventh partner. By appointing him as a co-owner, WTS Klient aims at ensuring the same dynamic progress in the coming years in its fifth key area of business that has already been produced recently in the firmʼs tax consulting, accounting, payroll, and legal consulting divisions.
"We are extremely delighted to welcome Szabolcs among the owners of the Group," said Zoltán Lambert, managing partner of WTS Klient. "We trust that his activities will continue to lend momentum to the development of the Klient Group."
Szeles started his career in the Cologne office of Big Four firm KPMG, before working for a medium-sized German audit and tax consulting company in Wuppertal. He returned to Hungary after gathering several years of professional experience in Germany, joining the Klient Group in 2006 after spending a short period at one of the companyʼs competitors.
He started as a manager, before working as a director in the group’s audit and financial consulting division. At the group, he expanded these business divisions by attracting key clients, while also leading the audits of a number of transformations, as well as government grants and EU subsidies, and participating in multiple due diligences.
Alongside Hungarian qualifications, he has also acquired the international ACCA auditor qualification, and is able to communicate perfectly with international clients in both English and German, according to the press release.
