Prologis strengthens project management team in CEE
Prologis, which describes itself as the global leader in logistics real estate, announced two new appointments at its CEE project management operations, enhancing its capabilities for developing high-quality, complex projects within specified budget and time frames, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
Leonard Kubanek and Michal Vrba
The company promoted Michal Vrba to vice president, head of project management of Prologis CEE, replacing Balázs Bellák, who moves to vice president, head of project management, Prologis Europe. Vrba will be responsible for the overall management of developments in the CEE region, overseeing multiple projects from initiation to completion, as well as acquisitions and disposals.
Vrba has over 16 years of experience in construction and project management. Prior to joining Prologis in August 2011, he served as development and project manager for industrial developer VGP NV, overseeing its activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
Meanwhile, Leonard Kubanek has joined Prologisʼ Warsaw office as director for project management, responsible for overseeing the company’s development and construction activities across Poland, leading the project management team there. Kubanek will report directly to Paweł Sapek, senior vice president and country manager for Poland, and the newly appointed Michal Vrba.
Kubanek brings some 15 years of experience in leading the design, licensing and construction of industrial projects in Poland. He managed the engineering, procurement and construction processes as head of industrial services in Building Consultancy at CBRE Poland and served as director of industrial projects for Tebodin before joining Prologis.
