Tamás Vágány was appointed leader of corporate consulting and the support services branch of Microsoft Hungary, while Zsolt Németh was appointed leader of One Partner Team, a branch responsible for the partner network of the company, according to a press release issued today. Vágány took over the position from Péter Hajagos, who was appointed director of sales of government services for Central Europe.

Tamás Vágány joined the company in November, 2014, and has played an important role in establishing and developing a team in the field of corporate consulting and support services. He has over 20 years of experience in the infocommunication field in Hungary and at an international level. Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked for T-Systems, PwC Strategy&, HTCC and Xerox.

“My promotion at Microsoft is a great honor and opportunity for me … I am happy that based on my knowledge and experience I was assigned a role to help more people and organizations use Microsoft more successfully to make their operations more efficient,” Vágány said.

Zsolt Németh hopes to turn the domestic distributor partner network into a professional network that, beyond distribution, can also proactively support the users of Microsoft’s cloud services as consultants. He has 13 years of sales and leadership experience and has worked with Microsoft for five years. Before joining the company he worked for HP and Samsung.

“My most important task as the leader of the One Partner team is the transformation of the Hungarian partner network, which will help provide the world’s best mobile phone and cloud based developer interfaces and offer the best and most efficient services for consumers,” Németh said.
