Invitel Group appoints new directors

Invitel Group is appointing several professionals from outside the company to positions in legal and regulatory affairs, human resources, and network and infrastructure development, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

After previously working for law firm Dentons, Balázs Fazekas (above) joins Invitel Group as Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs.

Petra Jakobsen (above) also joins Invitel Group as HR Director, having worked for companies like Bonafarm and GE.


The technical area of Invitech Solutions will be coordinated by two managers. Albert Kis (above) joins as Director of Network and Infrastructure Development. Previously he worked at Türk Telekom International.

Invitech Solutions is responsible for the provision of professional services to the SME, corporate, institutional and wholesale customers of Invitel Group. Invitel Zrt., the residential arm of the business, has been sold to Romanian-based operator Digi, in a deal for which competition authority approval is expected in March of next year.
