Bosch Hungary appoints new CEO
Daniel Korioth has been appointed CEO of the Hungarian subsidiary of German engineering giant Bosch, also responsible for activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, Bosch Hungary announced today. His appointment takes effect on November 1.
Korioth takes over from Javier González Pareja, who is being put in charge of overseeing Boschʼs business in Spain and Portugal, following his spell of almost five years here. During this period, the number of Bosch staff in the country has almost doubled.
The new head graduated as an economist from the University of Lima in Peru, and has worked for Bosch since 1989, initially in the field of sales and marketing. Earlier Korioth worked for Bosch in Germany, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
“It is a great honor and an inspiring challenge for me that I can continue my career in Hungary,” Korioth said. “Sustainable and profitable growth will be the main motive in my work,” he added.
