Balaton Sound countdown

In Hungary

Balaton Sound, the five-day non-stop beach party festival at Lake Balaton, has announced the names set to headline the boat parties at the Hungarian festival between July 4-8.

With Berlin duo Booka Shade kicking things off on Wednesday, "Be Sharp Say Nowt" producer Patrick Topping will play Friday’s event, alongside Poli, with Scuba providing a very special b2b performance alongside Agoria at Saturday’s party, a press release sent to Budapest Business Journal says.

With GRAMMY nominees CamelPhat, and many more in attendance across the week-long billing of nautical parties, BPitch Control label founder Ellen Allien will close things out on Sunday, with one of the most eagerly anticipated boat parties of the week alongside Gabor Kraft.

The sister of Budapestʼs Sziget festival gives fans a chance to enjoy a split of three of the main days of the festival (July 4-5-6 or 6-7-8). For those who are looking for some extra comfort and exclusivity, VIP passes and VIP day tickets are available with a separate VIP entrance and entry to the VIP area with a grand stand facing the main stage.

Organizers will once again provide a free transportation service from the festival to the Siófok’s marina (buses leave from the festival an hour before the boat opens). Those who already have their Balaton Sound passes can buy boat party tickets at a discounted price. More information and tickets are available at the Balaton Sound website.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
