The 2018 edition of the Hungarian "Rock, Paper, Scissors" championship will take place on September 7 in Kincsem Park, Budapest, with the winner getting a shot at the European title in London.

The maximum number of participants is 256, with the competitors fighting each other in a knockout system, where they have to beat their opponents twice to advance. However, after the round of 16, players have to win five games to advance, with the finalists having to beat their opponent nine times to clinch the title.

The Hungarian champion will receive a trip to London and a spot in the European round of the competition. The first championship in Europe was also held in the U.K. capital in 2007.

The second edition of the event is organized by Gibbon Games and Food Truck Show Hungary. Further information is available on the eventʼs Facebook page.

For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
