The Budapest Transport Company (BKV) is carrying out maintenance on the popular tourist line connecting Clark Ádám tér with Buda Castle. The Funicular will reopen on Saturday.
Twice a year, in the spring and in the fall, maintenance work is carried out to check the structural elements of the vehicles, the engineering and electrical equipment, as well as to prepare the Funicular for the summer and winter tourist seasons, the press release noted.
