Vodafone has boosted its outdoor 4G coverage around Lake Balaton close to 100%, CEO Diego Massidda said yesterday.

Vodafone has expanded its 4G network with frequency licences in the 800 and 2,600 MHz bands that it acquired at a sale last year for HUF 30.2 bln, Massidda noted.

Vodafoneʼs outdoor 3G coverage, which allows data transfer speeds up to 42 Mbps, stands at 98.4%. Data transfer speeds up to 75 Mpbs are available with 4G service.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
