Venture capital fund invests HUF 8.7 bln
Széchenyi Capital Investment Fund (SZTA), which is a state-owned venture capital fund for SMEs in Hungary, has invested HUF 8.7 bln in 69 companies, Hungarian economic daily Napi Gazdaság reported today.
CEO Imre V. Csuhaj foresees the investment fund making its hundredth investment by the end of the year. The fund manages approximately HUF 12 bln, most of which is European Union funding. Csuhaj expects the entire amount to be invested by the end of this year.
