Hungary calls tenders for HUF 71 bln of R&D grants
The Hungarian government yesterday reportedly called tenders for HUF 71 bln in European Union and state funding for research, development and innovation, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
As of the end of September, HUF 50 bln will be made available for R&D projects under the Economic Development and Innovation Operative Programme (GINOP), according to the report.
From the middle of October, HUF 20 bln will be allocated for the development of research infrastructure, and a further HUF 1 bln will be available from mid-September to support patent applications in Hungary and abroad. The grants awarded for R&D and infrastructure will be between HUF 50m and HUF 1 bln.
