Hungary c/a surplus €607 mln
Hungary's current-account surplus reached €607.4 mln in November, data published by the National Bank of Hungary today reveal. The surplus was up from €231.6 mln in October.
Hungary's external financing capacity - a combined surplus of the current and capital accounts — came to €966.5 mln in November, up sharply from €586.3 mln in October.
Net transfers from the European Union totalled €506.3 mln in November. They dropped from €565.3 mln in October, accrual-based balance-of-payment figures, showing the use of the transfers, reveal.
