Huawei Technologies revenue nearly doubles to HUF 67.5 bln
Revenue of the Hungarian unit of Chinese infocommunications company Huawei nearly doubled reaching HUF 67.5 billion last year up from HUF 36 bln in 2014, Huawei Technologies technical director Karish Cui said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Huawei Technologiesʼ export sales rose 14% to HUF 26.4 bln last year, while its domestic sales tripled to HUF 41.1 bln, public records show.
Karish Cui said Huawei is expanding its role in Hungarian society with educational programs in schools and sports sponsorships, in addition to its support for IT training.
Huawei has supported higher education in Hungary through HUF 250 million in contributions over the past five years, awarding scholarships to 108 young people studying IT.
