The various government departments are expected to send their chapter-based budget proposals to the Economy Ministry by April 1. Following government-level discussions, a budget proposal is expected to be submitted by the end of April and the chapter-specific draft could be submitted to Parliament on May 6.

While drafting the budget, the government is also working on an update of the Convergence Program for the European Commission which will likely be submitted in April.
