BUX opens down 0.8%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Tuesday trade down 0.78% at 17,606.56.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Tuesday’s opening bell:

OTP Bank was down 1.33% at HUF 3,342;

Oil and gas company MOL was down 1.07% at HUF 18,500;

Magyar Telekom was down 0.38% at HUF 520;

Drug company Richter was down 0.01% at HUF 34,100.

On Monday, the BUX closed up 1.71% to 17,745.74 on a turnover of HUF 11.78bn.
