2016: the year real movement returned to the real estate investment market

In what is arguably the biggest single asset transaction in the Budapest office market, the Austrian CEE specialist investor CA Immo acquired four buildings totaling around 70,000 sqm of space at the Millennium City Center on the Pest bank of the Danube from TriGranit and Heitman in September for a reported EUR 175 million. This has set a new post-2007 benchmark.
