This year’s Moroccan Handicraft Week opens today and runs until September 16 at the Vajdahunyad Castle in Városliget, Budapest. The event aims to familiarize guests with Moroccan jewelry, pottery, and furniture, as well as demonstrating the richness of Moroccan culture.

The 10-day event will host more than 30 artisans and artists. Guests will also have the chance to sample specialities of Moroccan cuisine, and take part in workshops of Moroccan traditions.

The event is organized by the Kingdom of Moroccoʼs Embassy in Hungary, alongside the Moroccan ministries of tourism and economy, Maison de l’Artisan, the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Office of the Mayor of Budapest.
