Talented Hungarians get US fellowships
The US government has provided more than $11 mln to give nearly 400 deserving candidates a unique possibility to undertake a fellowship that furthers their professional development in the United States, through the Hungarian-American Enterprise Scholarship Fund (HAESF).
The Scholarship Fund on the occasion of the Independence Day of the U.S. organized a ceremonial press event to highlight its first 10 years’ success and to introduce the results of an impact study that examined the fulfillment of the HAESF mission.
The Hungarian-American Enterprise Scholarship Fund’s roots trace back to the creation of the Hungarian-American Enterprise Fund (HAEF) in 1990. The Fund’s mission is to promote the economic and social development of Hungary. Through the first 10 years of operation, HAESF has been offering various scholarship program opportunities to the most deserving candidates with the aims of investing in Hungarian human capital.
