Another demo scheduled for this evening
Another demonstration by NGO Migration Aid is being organized, this evening entitled: “Not in My Name II”, after thousands of people - according to news reports – gathered yesterday evening to demonstrate against the Hungarian government’s policies for coping with the current refugee crisis.

Late yesterday, demonstrators marched from Budapest’s Nyugati Railway Station to the Hungarian Parliament, where they protested against the government’s planned changes to the immigration law, which activists from the NGO claim are inhumane. Speaking at the event, spokesperson Zsuzsa Zsohár called on the government to “stop demonizing” refugees, as “there is no such thing as illegal people”.
The second demonstration is scheduled for 7:00 PM today, starting, once again, from Budapest’s Nyugati Railway Station. So far more than 1,000 people have signed up for the event.
