HUF 765m industrial park unveiled in NE Hungary
Baktai Ipari Park on Thursday unveiled a HUF 765m industrial park in Baktaloranthaza (NE Hungary).
Baktai Ipari Park won a HUF 382m European Union and state grant for the investment, said owner Geza Balogh.
The 10-hectare park, near Hungary’s borders with Ukraine and Romania, was inaugurated with a 4,100sqm production hall, a 620sqm office building and a 260sqm kitchen and cafeteria.
Mr Balogh said talks were underway with a potential German wood industry company on moving into the production hall. If talks with the German investor fail, a Hungarian company is also interested in moving into the park, he added.
