GVH fines Procter & Gamble Ft 315 mln
The Competition Office (GVH) on Thursday said it fined Procter & Gamble Ft 315 million for false advertising. The watchdog found the company’s claim that its Bonux washing powder had “really outstanding” cleaning properties compared to similarly priced products was unfounded.
The ruling took the company’s significant market share and the extended period of the infringement into account, and also that Procter & Gamble had been fined five times before for similar reasons.
