DVM joins Earth Hour initiative
Construction services DVM group announced its plans to participate in the Earth Hour initiative to help raise awareness of climate change and support sustainable environment protection, according to a press release issued today.
DVM is encouraging tenants in its portfolio to join the initiative and switch off their lights tomorrow from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm local time to raise awareness for environmental concerns.
“For our company sustainability factors are especially important, as well as spreading ‘green’ thinking,” Edina Hornok from DVM group said.
The initiative was launched in 2007 by Word Wildlife Fund (WWF), whereby participating cities turned off public lights for one hour in the month of March. Both individuals and businesses were also encouraged to join the movement.
