Budapest Waterworks provides water for Indonesian communities
Waterworks of Budapest won the tender of the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works to provide water for 35 Indonesian communities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced in a press release today.
According to the announcement, the $50 mln agreement will provide an opportunity to Hungarian small- and medium-sized enterprises to become involved in the international project as suppliers.
The report noted that the supply of clean water is still a significant concern in smaller Indonesian towns. In the coming years, the Indonesian government is planning to solve the water supply problems currently affecting 700 towns.
