Serbia retail sales rise in February
Serbia's retail sales increased by a real 2.8% year-on-year in February, after posting a 3.2% annual rise in the previous month, data released by the Belgrade-based Central Statistical Office (SORS) showed on Wednesday.
Retail sales of food, beverages and tobacco increased by 5.2% annually in February, while non-food products (except for automotive fuel) rose by 1.3%. Trade of automotive fuel added 0.3%.
Month-on-month, retail sales went down by a real 1.3% in February, following a 17.6% decrease in the previous month.
