GKI: Sales at largest online retailers climb 84% in 2015
Sales at Hungaryʼs ten largest online retailers rose 84% reaching HUF 92 billion last year, data compiled by GKI Digital shows, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The rise well exceeded the 16% increase on the market as a whole, GKI Digital said, according to MTI.
The ten largest online retailers accounted for 34% of total internet sales in Hungary. In terms of transactions, their share came to 21%, MTI reported.
Included among the largest online retailers are Extreme Digital, eMAG, MALL, Media Markt, Tesco and Libri-Bookline.
