Home rental prices continue to fall
Home rental prices in Hungary fell 12% year-on-year in November, continuing a decline started in April, when the country was under lockdown because of the pandemic, a gauge of the market by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) and home listings site ingatlan.com shows, according to a report by Hungarian news agency MTI.
In Budapest, where supply is highest, home rental prices dropped 15% during the period.
The average monthly rent for a flat in Budapest was HUF 165,000 in the first half of 2020, the latest KSH data show.
