Qatar Airways has launched its "Beyond Business by Qatar Airways" corporate rewards program in Europe and the Americas, introducing a new currency, Qrewards, and allowing business travelers to take advantage of exclusive benefits, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The company says that the program will launch globally later in 2019. With "Beyond Business by Qatar Airways," SMEs earn Qrewards, redeemable on flights to any of the airlineʼs destinations. Companies can ascend through three reward tiers, unlocking quicker earnings and benefits, including fast-track Qatar Airways Privilege Club Gold status and lounge access.

"As a carrier-of-choice for businesses around the world, we recognize the importance of a top-tier corporate rewards program," says Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker. "We are proud to introduce ʼBeyond Business by Qatar Airwaysʼ as it allows SMEs to be rewarded for their business and enjoy industry-leading benefits."

Registered companies can use a new, full-service account portal that lets them book flights, redeem Qrewards, and access insightful reporting that helps them manage travel budgets. More information can be found at the programʼs website.

In celebration of the launch of the program, Qatar will offer 3,000 Qrewards for all new accounts created from now until March 15. The bonus Qrewards will be credited to the account within one week after qualification by the Beyond Business team at Qatar Airways.

Currently, Qatar Airways operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Qatarʼs capital Doha, to more than 160 destinations worldwide. The airline says it will add a number of new destinations to its network this year, including the Maltese capital Valletta, and Isfahan, central Iran.
