The two acquisitions have a total area of around 3.5 hectares. HB Reavis says it plans on erecting buildings that can accommodate office complexes, community offices, startups, and large corporates, all under the aegis of well-being and increasing productivity.

With the move, Germany becomes the sixth country where HB Reavis is active, after the U.K., Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

According to the companyʼs plans, the two -hectare plot in Berlin will transform the earlier area of Alter Schlachthof into a new business hub for the cityʼs creative and tech communities with excellent transport connections. The location is just a few minutes away from Alexanderplatz, one of Berlinʼs largest S-Bahn (urban rail service) hubs. The development will involve venues for conferences and events, gyms, and space for retail units as well.

The second, 1.6-hectare location in Dresden will be developed as a unique campus right next to the cityʼs university district, the press release says.
