Two new companies to begin operations at industrial park in Bátonyterenye

Hungarian-owned steel structure manufacturer FR3-Technológia Acélszerkezetgyártó and Meldtechnik, the Hungarian unit of Czech pool cover maker ALUKOV, will begin operations at the industrial park in the village of Bátonyterenye in a few months, officials in Batonyterenye said on Tuesday. The Economic Operative Program granted FR3-Technológia HUF 429 million in funding for its HUF 858.6 million investment at the Bátonyterenye industrial park. They plan to start trial run with 12 employees in October this year. ALUKOV received HUF 394 million in EU and Hungarian central budget grants for its HUF 788.8 million investment. Production at the plant is scheduled to start in the summer. They will produce 500 pool covers in the first phase and will double capacity later. Employment at the plant will increase to 70 from an initial 25.
