Sopron Plaza renovation enters next phase
The renovation of the Sopron Plaza shopping mall, in the northwest Hungarian city of Sopron, is set to enter a new phase in April with the start of the modernization of its interior, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The works will not affect the opening times of stores, according to the press release. The plaza says that after the conclusion of the exterior and interior works, the establishment will offer new stores and entertainment options, and will also get a new logo.
The new look of the Sopron Plaza, featuring some 15,000 square meters of leasable space, will be ready by the end of the summer. The first phase was begun last November, with the reconstruction of the external facade.
"Our aim is, besides expanding our offering of shops, to provide as many good experiences to our customers as possible," says László Lelkes, plaza development director of the Indotek Group, which owns the establishment. "Therefore, after the end of the modernization, we will be welcoming all age groups with countless new events and programs, with a special emphasis on families."
