Syrian refugee killed walking on Route 5 near Szeged

A Syrian refugee was hit by a car and killed last night while walking along Route 5 towards Szeged with two other Syrians, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.

The group were walking along Route 5 shortly before midnight yesterday when they were hit by a car. One of them died in hospital. The other two are in critical condition. Local police are currently investigating the evidence surrounding the accident.
